410 stainless steel wire mesh is the basic martensitic stainless steel alloy, it's 11.5-13.5% chromium content provides satisfactory corrosion resistance in dry atmospheres, steam, mild industrial atmospheres, and many mild chemical environments. 410 further offers great strength and toughness across a broad range of mechanical properties, post heat-treatment.
430 stainless steel wire mesh is the most commonly used ferritic stainless steel alloy, and has a chromium content of 16-18%. Being a ferritic stainless steel, 430 cannot be strengthened or hardened by heat treatment, but is more resistant to chemical attack and high temperatures when compared to 410 stainless steel. As such, 430 stainless steel displays good resistance to nitric acid, some organic acids, and a broad mix of other corrosive environments.

What is 316 stainless steel wire mesh?
316 stainless steel wire mesh is the second most extensively used stainless steel alloy in the industrial wire cloth world. 316 stainless steel is the basic 18-8 alloy, stabilized by the addition of 2% molybdenum to provide better corrosion resistance to many salts and acids, along with increased pitting resistance to salt water, brine, and chlorine salts.
What is 316L stainless steel wire mesh?
316L stainless steel wire mesh is the same as 316 stainless steel wire mesh, except for its extra-low carbon content which allows for superior welding. Specifically, the low carbon content helps to minimize carbide precipitation when welding, allowing 316L wire cloth to be used without subsequent annealing of the weld joints, even in corrosive environments.

310 stainless steel wire mesh has a higher nickel content than 309 stainless steel, and provides good strength and oxidation resistance at temperatures up to 2000°F. 310 stainless steel is often referred to as 25-20 stainless steel due to its 25% chromium and 20% nickel composition. 310 stainless steel offers superior performance to both T-304 and 309 in most environments as a result of this high chromium and nickel content.
314 stainless steel wire mesh is the same alloy as 310 stainless steel except for the addition of a higher silicon content. The higher silicon content, at 1.5-3%, improves high temperature oxidation resistance allowing for maximum resistance during carburization. 314 stainless steel is a heat resistant material.
317 stainless steel wire mesh is the same as 316 stainless steel wire mesh except for its slightly higher chromium, nickel, and molybdenum content (18% chromium, 14% nickel, 3% molybdenum) for increased corrosion resistance. 317 displays exceptional resistance to pitting in many chemical environments, including sulfurous, acetic, formic, citric, chloride, phosphoric, and tartaric acid solutions and seawater

2507 duplex stainless steel wire mesh is the most commonly used super duplex stainless steel alloy in the industrial wire cloth world. Its high chromium (25% ), molybdenum (4%), and nickel (7%) content make 2507 super duplex the ideal alloy for taxing applications requiring superior corrosion resistance and strength. Additionally, its higher chromium, molybdenum, and nickel content yield superior strength and resistance to pitting, crevice, and general corrosion than 2205 duplex stainless steel.
S32760 duplex stainless steel wire mesh is one of the most commonly used super duplex stainless steel alloys in the industrial wire cloth world. Its high chromium (25% ), molybdenum (3.5%), and nickel (7%) content make it nearly identical to 2507 duplex, however S32760 contains added tungsten content (0.75% - for improved corrosion resistance) and higher copper content (0.75% - for superior corrosion resistance in mineral acids).
